Day by Day Itinerary
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by a private driver and transferred to the luxurious Villa Rosa Kempinski, offering an elegant stay in the heart of the city. In the afternoon, visit the renowned Giraffe Centre to feed endangered Rothschild giraffes and learn about their conservation. Relax and enjoy the amenities at the hotel, such as the spa or the rooftop bar.

After breakfast, your private driver will transfer you to Wilson Airport for a flight to Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy a transfer to the luxurious Elephant Bedroom Camp. Located along the Ewaso Nyiro River, this camp offers an intimate setting with elephants often visiting the camp itself! Begin your safari experience with a guided afternoon game drive, exploring Samburu’s unique wildlife such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and oryx.

Start the day with an early morning game drive, searching for wildlife unique to Samburu’s arid landscape, including the Samburu Special Five. In the afternoon, visit the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, a community-based elephant sanctuary focused on rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants. Relax back at camp, enjoy sundowners by the river, and relish a sumptuous dinner under the stars.

After breakfast and a morning game drive, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the world-famous Maasai Mara. Upon landing, you’ll be transferred to Elewana Sand River, located in a secluded part of the Mara near the banks of the Sand River, evoking the romantic ambiance of the early 1920s safaris. Begin exploring the Maasai Mara with a thrilling game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants.

Spend the next two days on immersive game drives across the Mara plains. Spot the famous Big Five and, if the timing is right, witness the Great Migration in full swing.
Hot Air Balloon Safari (Optional): For an unforgettable experience, you may opt for an early morning hot air balloon safari (additional cost), floating over the Mara’s landscapes at sunrise, followed by a champagne breakfast.
Visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about the local culture, traditions, and daily life of the Maasai people.

After a final morning game drive and breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred back to Villa Rosa Kempinski for your last night. Enjoy your final evening in Nairobi, perhaps with a relaxing spa treatment or a delicious dinner at one of the city’s top restaurants.
